A picturesque combination of rustic and classic; Clair and Patrick looked like old-school movie stars. One of my favorite ceremony spots, Chapel Restoration was a perfect and simple Hudson River-side setting for vows. The two, joined by their guests, took the quaint walk from the chapel to the party on Main Street. At The Living Room at 103 Main where they drank local whiskey and dancing to the blues. Perfection.
The two were lucky winners of the Awesome Love Project by Couple of Dudes Photography, be sure to check out all the images on their site!

Shayne and Daniel took D.I.Y to a new level this September in Cold Spring N.Y. Daniel is a carpenter in Brooklyn who built BOTH custom bars for his wedding at The Living Room. After a brainstorm with the couple he also created a custom (gold glitter...OMG) platform stage to use for the cozy ceremony. The exact spot they got married they got to keep, which continues to blow my mind. Rustic additions, family-style service and long farm tables tied up the vision wonderfully.
Michal and Asaf’s afternoon wedding was a casual bright hang out for friends from far and wide. The big flowers are called Proteas, a stunning architectural flower that was found in the large arrangements and centerpieces. Simple lanterns hung above the long banquet tables were a lovely way to bring the outdoors inside. Books and farmed family photos surrounded the happy couple and their family.

A summer-long market of makers and artisans all over the lower and mid-Hudson Valley. Everything from letterpress artists to woodworkers sold and educated right up the road from the Metro-North train. Co-Producer The Coffee Pantry served hot pour-over coffee and brought treats to share. It was an awesome time and was a real pleasure to see locals and tourists learning about all the talented creators along the Hudson. I acted as one of the organizers reaching out to and vetting vendors, managing social media, and snagging sponsors.

A touching ceremony, harvest details, and good vibes all around, this was an epic party. Down to the last details with personal photos adorning the entrance, fresh fruits with kale as centerpieces and a room with a view; this was one of my favorite weddings I've worked on.

Attending the Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance Tradeshow is something I look forward to every year. For decades SIBA has brought locally owned and operated bookstores, publishers, authors, and book carnivores together under the same roof. Each time traveling to a new part of the south, I was lucky enough to join them this time in New Orleans where I took in the local sites, bites, and swigs. I acted as day-of coordinator and volunteer organizer. This year I was able to meet some authors I adore and take home a boat load of coveted books.
Brieanne and Alan Berry's wedding celebration at The Dumbo Loft was an awesome and casual house-party style celebration. The space was outfitted with a disco ball, tons of cupcakes, and decorations that highlighted the two's love for travel. The nearby Manhattan bridge and cobblestone streets made for a scenic path to the tall ceiling loft.

Featured vendors from New York City and the Hudson Valley populated this simple styled shoot in an intimate venue. During some venue consulting for The Living Room, we created some shots that cozied up this otherwise empty gallery space with gorgeously understated bridal and party elements. The results were breathtaking images by Mikal Marie Photography. Flowers provided by Seed to Fruit nearby, expert letterpress by Foxy and Winston in Brooklyn, Jewelry from Rent the Runway, and booze by Van Brunt Stillhouse in NYC. The typewriter was borrowed from of Main Streets many antique stores.
